Entertainment News Show With Dellanos Debuts

On its one-hour premiere show tonight, Univision's En Exclusiva con Myrka Dellanos will feature the well-known journalist and two luminaries in the field of Hispanic entertainment. It will air at 10 p.m. ET/9 p.m. CT.
The Cuban-American news personality will have an exclusive interview with Spanish singer Rocío Dúrcal, who will discuss her health after being diagnosed with cancer. Dúrcal also will talk about her relationship with singer Juan Gabriel.
Also on tap will be singer Alejandro Fernández, who will discuss his personal life, including his relationship with his father, Vicente Fernández.
Slated to run as a special quarterly program, En Exclusiva con Myrka Dellanos will air again before the end of the year, though a Univision communications director says it's still undetermined when it will run or who will be featured on the show.
Univision has secured top sponsors for the program, which include Procter & Gamele, Toyota, Cingular, Allstate and Colgate. Dellanos is the "sonrisa," or smile, for Colgate's ad campaign.
Dellanos, a former host of Primer Impacto, also on Univision, was selected to be "La Estrella del Año" by People en Español magazine, out this time last year as the inaugural special issue. She also was one of the celebrity contestants featured on VH1's But Can They Sing? in October.
